Victorian Solar Panel (PV) Rebate for Households
Eligible homeowners can receive a rebate of up to $1,400 for the installation of solar panel (PV) systems. Additionally, an interest-free loan matching the rebate amount is available to further reduce upfront costs.

Eligibility Criteria:

Owner-occupier of an existing property or a home under construction.

Combined household taxable income of all owners is less than $210,000 per year.

Property value is under $3 million.

The property has not previously received a solar panel (PV) or solar battery rebate under this program.

The property has not had a solar panel (PV) system installed in the last 10 years.

Victorian Solar Battery Loan for Households
The program offers interest-free loans of up to $8,800 to assist eligible households in installing solar battery systems, reducing upfront costs and enhancing energy independence.

Eligibility Criteria:

The property must have an existing solar panel system of 5kW or more.

Applicants must meet the same income and property value requirements as the solar panel rebate.

Victorian Solar Rebates for Rental Properties
Rental property owners can access a rebate of up to $1,400 for the installation of solar panel (PV) systems on up to two rental properties each financial year, benefiting both landlords and tenants through reduced energy bills.

The rental property must meet similar criteria as owner-occupied properties regarding income and property value.

An agreement must be signed by both the rental provider and the renter(s).
